Are mistints spoiling the show for you? Errors in tinting can occur because of stalling and vacuum in pumps; when the pump’s speed is higher than what the current environment or state of the colorant allows. To ensure you always have a seamless tinting experience, we have AutoDrive 2. This system optimizes the intake and dispense speed settings of your Harbil automatically. It repairs any vacuum issue and ensures your dispenser is always performing at its best, taking your tinting solutions to the next level.

Steer clear of mistints

With AutoDrive 2, you can maximize performance while minimizing mistints.

• Ultimate reliability at high speed
• No more colorant-related mistints
• Efficient and accurate diagnostics

We realize that using complex colorants to produce precise results might be difficult. In fact, overcoming these difficulties is the very reason why our Harbil dispensers are so well-liked. However, in addition to the Harbil’s dependability and ease of maintenance, we understand you also need a quick turnaround time with accurate results.

AutoDrive 2 performs a vacuum check during the initial ‘Flush + Intake Speed Validation’ program setting, typically set up in the morning. This feature validates all pumps once a day for the presence of vacuum and sets the pump intake speed accordingly.

When circumstances are favorable, dispensers operate more slowly than necessary. If surrounding conditions change over time, it may be possible to go faster at a later stage. The system increases the intake speed depending on the previous day’s action. Over time, this gives you optimal speed settings for any given environment.

AutoDrive 2 also regulates the dispense speed to prevent stalling. It starts at the highest speed, recognizes difficult colorants, and, if necessary, adjusts to the fastest possible dispense speed to complete the task. The operator doesn’t even notice this adjustment since it happens so quickly. After two successful dispenses at reduced dispense speeds, AutoDrive 2 will increase the dispense speed with the next dispense. The outcome? A reliable, error-free, and exceptionally time-efficient dispensing method!

AutoDrive 2 truly improves the system’s performance in terms of speed, accuracy, and
efficiency — ensuring better tinting results for you, always.

Service technicians, it’s time to get started.

To enable AutoDrive 2, you have to navigate to the ‘Dispenser’ tab. All existing scheduled actions are here. After enabling AutoDrive 2, the Dispenser tab of the Service Dashboard will allow you to schedule the daily ‘Flush + Intake Speed Validation’ action. This action works as a flush and automatically increases/decreases the intake speed percentage based on its measurements.

Please note that after updating the firmware from v2.11 to v2.12 on the Harbil 180, 480 and 680 series, Autodrive needs to be enabled again.

Steps to level up

1. Head to your Service Dashboard.
2. In the dispenser tab, select “Autodrive version”.
3. Change the version to AutoDrive 2.
4. Wait for a display message that says the Dashboard needs to be restarted.
5. Restart Dashboard.
6. In the Maintenance tab, click “Intake Speed Validation”
7. Select all channels and click”the “Validate and Adjust” button.
